[W126 Coupe] Transmission Question

Hello Tracey,
How long after starting the car did this occur?  Only if the linkage
falls back to neutral will that effect anything.  The electronic
control on our trans is for the 3-4 shift only.  That cable is a kick
down cable, transmission will work w/ it detached &/or broken.

I'm wondering if you have developed a leak in the valve body resulting
in a loss of pressure/lack of gears.
