Am I understanding something wrong? There's a double maximummer mate in 5.5:
1. Sf3 Sh6 2. Se5 Sf5 3. Sc6 Sd4 4. Sd8 Sec6 5. Se6 Sd8 6. Sc7#

With only whitemax or blackmax it's even faster:
Whitemax: 1. Sh3 c5 2. Sg5 e5 3. Se4 Se7 4. Sd6#
Blackmax: 1. e4 Sa6 2. Bc4 Sb4 3. Qh5 Sa2 4. Qf7#
