As much as I find your letter humorous, it has a few problems. On number
6, at least according to the Catholic Church there are different levels
of sin. Number 7, come on, you know what it means. Number 10, the thing
about your uncle's wife, that's one that's brought up a lot, and it's
the fault of a poor translation becoming popular. It's not just a fabric
of two threads, it's a very specific fabric. It's the material worn by
Rabbi's (maybe not Rabbi's, it's something similar, I'm not Jewish so I
forget the names of people) on certain special occasions. You're
supposed to not wear it so that you recognize it has a spiritual
significance. Though, IMHO, the creation of cotton/poly blend clothing
is a sin. I'm sure there are other issues with the passages you cite,
but as I'm neither Jewish nor Christian I'm only so well versed in The
Bible.
